Jaylen Brown vs Bronny Summer League 😤

Gilbert Arenas of the Gil's Arena crew ERUPTS talking about how Jaylen Brown was caught talking about Bronny James not being an NBA pro. Jaylen Brown was the 3rd overall pick in the NBA draft and only wen 5-26 in his first three summer league games. Bronny James has gone 6-26 in the same first 3 games. There is nothing to worry about and no reason to be speaking on his name.

Gil’s Arena premieres every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30am PT / 2:30pm ET.

1. Literally no one would give af if this wasn't Lebron's kid.
2. The ppl hating all the publicity Bronny is getting, are the same ones giving him all the attention 😂

I find it crazy that media barely said anything about the number 2 pick Alex sarr going 0-15 from 3 point in one game

It is pretty ironic that they basically shot the same percentage through their first 3 games & it was JB that said something.

No one is expecting Bronny to be Jaylon. They just want to talk him down.

Simple solution. The media has got to stop focusing on bronny and start focusing on the top draft picks. No wonder the kid gets bashed

Now compare how jaylen brown played in college to how bronny played in college

people are treating bronny and his stats as if he's not a 55th pick 😭 name another 55th pick who had to do all that

stop glazing gil. jaylen was good in college- and in high school . bronny has a a secure contract after NEVER averaging more than 10 even in high school . u cant compare. unles u do this- and ignore all other things like talent, upside, previous performance and size, etc.

And there have been guys that looked good in their first summer league that never panned out in the league.. it doesn't matter either way..

The difference is Bronny has had access to the highest level of the game while JB had to bust his ass to get there with most likely limited access to anyone much less anything NBA related.
Jordan stopped his kid's from trying to make the league for a reason, you can't raise him to be a ball player while his father is one the best of this generation while not having expectations high for him.

Gil stays on Twitter and acts like he remembers all these things lol

Because Jaylen brown actually BELONGED there and EVERYONE knew it. Jaylen Brown didn't have a heart attack at 19 and he put it in the work on the courts and the playground. Bronny grew up in a mansion his whole life. He wasn't even close to a top 100 college athlete. He has an LA fitness skill bag.

Cmon now, Jaylen is 6’4 and literally one of the greatest developmental stories in nba history😅 I think bronny gonna end up being a decent role player but comparing him to Jalen is crazy

The difference is Brown was a proven college player at 6ft 6in.

Bronny hasn’t proved anything, there’s no indication he is any better than what he’s shown so far.

At his size he doesn’t get the grace of larger players. He wasn’t a good shooter in college, and he’s not a good shooter now. It’s the same thing with his handle, playmaking, and IQ.

Right now Bronny isn’t even close to 6th man quality for a G-league team. Yet he got 4 years guranteed and a roster spot on the Lakers.

People are right to question this, because the media was telling people he could be Jrue Holiday or Davion Mitchell, absolute lies.

Jaylen brown was Freshman of the Year in the Pac-12. LeBron isnt gonna give you an assistant coaching job 😂
