Ladies, try, for a moment, to look at it from our point of view. A single mother comes with 0 extra benefits over a childless woman and with significantly more responsibility, risk, and inconvenience. Not to mention she likely has a fair bit of baggage. Where's the upside?

Us men can be as compassionate as possible, but that doesn't change the fact that it's just a bad deal. We get less, and need to put in more, it's just not a sound proposition.

Okay, let's be real here for a moment. The reason some men leave these women that they have had children with is because they didn't really love the woman to begin with, and they found something that they think is better. So the woman that he had the baby with is old news now, so he moves on not thinking about the child or children that he's leaving behind. In some other cases, the woman acts up so badly that the man chooses to leave. So this could be looked at in multiple ways, and none of them are good. For the men and women that have had stepdads, hey, I say that's a good thing. A step dad is better than no dad, especially if he was a good step dad.
