Honestly, I love the little touch but Mario has scars probably from all his previous adventures because yeah, that makes sense doing some of the things Mario does would probably leave a couple scars not to mention we need more wholesome characters with scars

I expected it to be a joke about Mario trying to explain his jump and all of his various situational powers with the fireballs and tanuki suits and magic hats and whatnot, so that completely caught me off-guard.
