Every summer I'd take my kids to Lancaster for the weekend. Visit farms, go to Dutch wonderland ect. That was back in the early to mid 80s. I hope it's still nice there.

People who don’t own horses, has no idea what abusive towards animals is. Especially if they’re not familiar with ranching or farming. Especially if they’ve lived in the modern world for so long they don’t know what is a negative and a positive anymore.

Maybe some of you Nay-Sayers should get to know some of them personally. They are generally good people and they do more than take good care of their horses, they take good care of their house, property, and buildings . They take good care of each other in their community and are generally good neighbors. They are successful due to their hard work and management of finances . They are peaceful and genuine as much as any people you will find. Anybody that says that they don't appreciate the Amish, doesn't actually have a better view on anyone else either. The Amish are not perfect and they will be quick to tell you that, but neither is
anyone else. To be successful while living the life they do, takes an exceptional amount of charisma.
Don't mock or slander them unless you think you can do it better, and the only way you can do that is to try copying their lifestyle exactly and then try to outperform what they do and live a way more stellar example of how you think they should actually do everything. If you think you can do better, let's see "you" try it . The Amish in Lancaster county are good people without a doubt, I know some personally, can you say that?

If you research them, you will find that they are NOT that cool. Not only are they abusive to their animals, but they also do other horrible stuff as well.
