Josh Figueroa is a professor at UC San Diego in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry with his research focusing on the design and synthesis of highly reactive and unusual transition metal complexes for applications ranging from small-molecule activation, catalysis and organic methodology.
Anticipating the Future of Science was an event hosted by UC San Diego that honored Research Corporation for Science Advancement's contributions to basic science and showcased the researchers whose early grants paved the way for larger funding, allowing them to push their scientific fields forward.
