Honestly after reading the comments I had to rewatch the advert again. I honestly didn't get the impression so many others seemed to have. I interpreted it that she only said the 'friends with benefits comment' as a savage way to shut her nosey aunt up, not to de-value a relationship. With that in mind, if I was her, I'd have been just as entertained if my partner had said it instead (I have a bit of a warped sense of humor). No one wants interfering friends or relatives commenting on your private love lives... sometimes the 'shock tactic' is a good way to do that! I will agree though, sadly if they had shown the partner making the joke instead, there would be a lot more triggered people!
