Italian PM condemns Israeli attacks on UN peacekeepers in Lebanon

During a summit of European and Mediterranean leaders in Cyprus, on Friday, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni condemned the Israeli military’s attacks on UN peacekeepers in Lebanon, calling the attacks “unacceptable”
The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) announced on Friday that two peacekeepers had been injured near the border with Israel.
A day earlier, two Indonesian peacekeepers were wounded after Israel fired on the UNIFIL headquarters.
