This was my girlfriend’s favorite song. She sent me the lyrics via letter while I was in boot camp, we met sophomore year of high school and dated all throughout. Then after, For about 5 years. Today would have been our 6 year anniversary. She died in a car crash about 6 months ago. Some drunk lady t boned her while she was driving through an intersection, I feel like I lost a part of myself. I think about her every day and I don’t think I’ll ever stop missing her. Ever since she’s been taken from me I’ve worked as hard as I can every day to make her proud. She always supported me in all my dreams, I just won my IFBB pro body builder card. I’m moving to Germany, going to college, everything she ever hoped I’d do. But I just feel so empty. I’m greatful I can listen to her favorite song whenever I want. The line where she says “even eventually when we fade to nothing you’ll always be my favorite form of loving.” To me means goodbye. It’s almost like she left me this song to listen to so I got a goodbye from her.
