I bought a brand new TM3 with RWD, a 80 kWh battery and 620 km of range with a towbar for 39.5k €. (In France) Nothing comes close in terms of range per € . Not even the super long range MG4. MG would sell more cars if they could increase production.

So ID.4/5, Skoda Enyaq and Audi Q4 e-tron have similar sales than Tesla Model Y. Since they are literally the same car, the comparison is quite fair. Impressive what Tesla achieved since the launch of the Model 3 and also good news that VAG has not lost the race.

My money is on BYD, whose market cap is a fraction of that of Tesla. With their wide product portfolio, quality and prices, I think we will see them break out in Europe in 2024.

So, the luxury expensive models are selling more than the affordable ones... In a normal market should be the other way around! I guess normal people are not convinced by the current battery technology and specs... and there will be no evs massification until that happen.
