Sky News host Caleb Bond discusses the “gotcha” question to Treasurer Jim Chalmers in the Treasurers’ Debate.

“One of the most interesting moments I think was a question that was set up first by Ross Greenwood and one that was then continued on by Angus Taylor,” Mr Bond said.

“It gave a little bit of a gotcha moment to Jim Chalmers.”

There is no such concept of “Government funded”. Everything is taxpayer funded . If you trace taxes to their origin, it comes from business. Not government.

There is nothing charming about Chalmers. The only performance that is important is what they do for Australia, not performing in a debate or in Parliament.
Any "help" towards the cost of living is coming from the pockets of people who work and pay taxes.

You can't justify this useless government. You need the LNP whether you like it or not. *Your country needs change, you know it!*

To my surprise Taylor won this debate - expected he might struggle against smart arse Jiminy Cricket - but he actually out performed him. Cocky Labor need to go - vote them out.

My ALP voting friends lets not forget that Albo gave us 300 bucks off of our power bills on election year. When he actually promised 275 bucks a year off of our power bills before he got elected 3 years ago. 300 is not the same as 825!

Chalmers starts off by saying it will a respectful debate, then tries to talk over the top of Taylor with smartass remarks!
