I went into a donki in Bangkok and found 4 relax time figures (Calli, Subaru, Hacchama, and Mel) each for 20 dollars. bought calli and subaru for myself because of bag size and weight constraint

Nakano Broadway is seriously one of the coolest places on earth. It's such a hodge-podge of... everything. Antique toys, vintage manga and anime goods, old electronics and knick-knacks, and collectible trading cards, but also weird knock-off products, high-end watches, anime cels, designer jackets... There's just a little bit of everything there, with almost no organization whatsoever. It's like wandering the nerdiest, most spectacular flea market you can imagine.

One of the coolest things that brings me to Nakano Broadway on the regular, actually, is the fact that they sell back-issues of Shonen Jump and other weekly/monthly manga compilations and popular protoculture magazines dating back to like, the '60s -- and they're not very expensive at all! So when I have a friend or family member with an upcoming birthday and I'm not sure what to get them, I'll often go to Nakano Broadway and just buy a copy of Shonen Jump or Garo or something from the year and month of their birth. Always gets a good reaction, and it's usually less than $10 per issue! Can't beat that.

I found Calli’s relaxtime figure for around 2k yen at a card shop in Osaka, they had Subaru and Lamy as well for around the same price

Buying it online can be a lot cheaper, and using Japanese websites is a lot more accessible for Ina. Relax time Suisei is 2500-4500 on Surugaya depending on condition, which in my experience, a dent on the box counts as “rough” condition according to the Japanese.

The resell price of these things keep rises, people that can find them at its standard price are really lucky. The craziest of them all is the mochidoll Suisei, last year in Tokyo it price has soar above 50k JPY...

Ah yes, Nakano Broadway. I mainly know it from Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth, so hearing more about it more recently, it feels... a bit weird, but nice. Like learning of a secret tip way before it goes mainstream... although I've never been there yet, but when I got to Japan, it's definitely on my list of places to go.

I think the place Ina was talking about is Mandarake or atleast the Nakano broadway location. They sell alot of second hand anime/video game/retro stuff. Nakano broadway also has alot of stores too so could be one of the other ones in there.

I got mine for 100 Yen, it was in a game machine and I had my cracked friend with me, who proceeded to first try it.
Shame I paid for the Mio figure beforehand, could have also gotten it for cheap.

Nakano is pretty good for finding Holo merch, I got a bunch of relax time figurines for like 1300-2000 yen.

I think I got my suisei relax for like 3900 yen, Akiba be ripping tourists off man
