I always personally thought Andrew had a personal grudge against Gamzee, for no real reason i might add.

I have to say Gamzee was an interesting concept, a silly goofy clown ends up becoming the most powerful creature in the Homestuck universe.

But Gamzee was basically either bullying or being bullied himself, nothing more than a living gag.
