My favorite part of the animation is that it doesn't portray Norman as a hostile creature. in fact it looks like Norman had no intention of hurting Henry. He only became hostile when threatened. Until Henry pulled out the axe Norman had no reason to attack. Henry provoked him by taking a threatening stance.

The song works on both the literal level, as a song about the Projectionist, but also as a more general metaphor for someone who feels he's lost himself--lost his meaning to live--and all he has left to hold onto for an identity is the memories of his past. There's a bit of a nihilistic undertone here, too, such as to say I don't know why I'm here, but I'll tell you the story of my life and you can draw your own conclusions from that, because 1) I'm tired of trying and 2) You're going to do that anyway, regardless of what I think.

What an amazing song about the Projectionist... both Dawko and CG5 have such amazing voices. I loved the bridge portion that was lower and more spoken, made it just that much better. Yet another awesome song from CG5 and Dawko!

So glad to see another song about the projectionist though, this one is very.. catchy but not a "break out in instant dance" catchy, just one of those where you suddenly catch yourself sitting & moving your body to the rythm and you can't even be mad about it because it's just how it is lol.
