I felt that, poor Love. Joe found his other half and *still* isn't satisfied.

From his relationships the one that matched the most would be the one with Love. Beck was vulnerable and needed saving, but was too normal and was afraid of the realization that he killed. Marianne had the same level of intelligence and bookishness, but too proper and disapproves of murder. Kate brought out the peace in him, but did not have much in common with him. Love was the exact version of him. She would kill for him, just as he kills for love, but she was not vulnerable and did not need him saving her. His perfect version of a woman to love is someone that is vulnerable, needs saving from, so he can save her and has the intelligence and bookishness. If we merged Beck´s vulnerability with Marianne´s bookishness with Kate´s peacefulness with Love´s not afraid of his killings in one, that would have been the perfect girl for him. Bronte was actually a good fit, as she has the vulnerability of Beck, the bookishness of Marianne and the not afraid of murder like Love. Also that Bronte was someone who likes to dig into the psychology of him, the others just accused him of a murderer and were never interested in the psychology of why he does what he does.

They have a trauma bond no real love…. Once they try to heal or change there is no real substance or connection between them that’s why both their attention shifts on other people

But to be fair

This is the only season Joe really tried to be better in a way.

The only problem I had with this season is Forty. I mean there is a scene where Love hugs her brother while she is naked in the bathtub 😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️
