How To Cancel iCloud Storage Plan | Cancel iCloud+ Subscription

Learn how to cancel your iCloud storage plan on iPhone. This is basically cancelling your iCloud + subscription to return to the 5GB free plan.

When you do this, you'll no longer be charged for iCloud storage and you'll also get no more than the 5GB free storage in your iCloud account.

How To Cancel iCloud Storage Plan :
Tap on Settings
Tap on your name at the top of the settings page
Tap on iCloud
Tap on 'Manage Storage'
Tap on 'Change Storage Plan'
Tap on 'Downgrade Options'.
Tap on 'Free' plan
Tap on 'Done' in the top right corner
Conform you want to downgrade. Cancel iCloud +

NB: Before you Cancel iCloud+ subscription, make sure you remove all the data that is in excess of 5GB in your iCloud account.

I tapped on the free plan after going to downgrade plan. The free tab momentarily lightens from dark grey to a lighter grey when I tap it, but at top right corner of the screen, the "Done" option is ghosted and does not let me downgrade.

I had iphone with 256GB and had subscription of 200GB on iCloud + since my memory was pretty much full. Now I bought new iPhone with 512GB and I know how to cancel subscription but even I think I downloaded all photos, that's pretty much only thing I uploaded to iCloud +, on my new iPhone I have only 160GB used when it should be somewhere close to 256 since I cloned my old iPhone on this new one.
My worry now is if I downgrade iCloud + that I might lose something that I didn't downloaded back to my iPhone even I don't know what else is there to download.

The battery life is awesome, speakers are solid, Bluetooth connectivity is seemless, and the screen is smooth, despite coming from a 90htz display on the Pixel 7, I haven’t really seen a huge difference on the 60htz screen on the IPhone 14. I absolutely love this phone.
