Sighting of Rare Chain Catsharks | Nautilus Live

We spotted these rare sharks in the Gulf of Mexico while studying an extinct mud volcano in the region. Although found off much of the east coast of North and Central America, they are very rarely seen. Even better? They are fluorescent, emitting light they have been previously exposed to.

Chain Catsharks are cool & cousin of the Nurse 🦈 because Chain Catshark is a bottom dwelling 🦈.

I saw one for and it was perfect for my tank, except it costs a lot and it needs really cold water. Great footage though
