DEI is a shame against hard work and ethics. Legal and illegal has become a question more of media persuasion and less of due process and legislation... which is also a shame.

Using a person's racial identity or sexual orientation as a category in hiring is, in fact, illegal. It's not even a question, the Civil Rights Act couldn't be more clear.

Forget DEI being illegal, it is literally racist.

These companies are finally realizing that hiring people based on race and gender rather than merit is breaking them.

When i first started with my current employer in 2010, the DEI stuff was just starting to be promoted but all my ‘management training’ was still focused on how the company was a meritocracy.

Now 15 years later, there is no longer any speak of meritocracy and everything is about DEI. This essentially means they will replace 1 qualified white male with ~3 DEI hires to do same job.

Is it too soon for us to talk about the systematic racism against white population?

Any company worth it's salt should strictly hire based on talent, and experience, the government should also follow this as well.
Let statistics drive improvements on teaching, learning skills, to force schools public, private at all levels produce productive citizens,
Also each business should endeavor to train, offer merit based schooling focused on whatever skills they are seeking to hire, Examples are like the Think Big program Caterpillar dealerships across regions offer

Exactly in government they only get a promotion because is not what you know but who you.

It's been around since the 80s. 75% to 25% recruitment favor is nuts. It should be who is the best suited for the job. I can understand a 5% best person not best degree hires. Military has done this for a long time in Canada.

Who else loved the wonderful speeches and endorsements by all the living former GOP presidents and VPs at the RNC? I particularly enjoyed VP Pence's heartwarming and genuine praise of his former partner in the WH. But, I must say, for me the highlight of the entire RNC was Melania's amazing, heartfelt speech. The love, affection and respect she displayed for her great man was moving and, quite frankly, overwhelming --- it nearly brought me to tears!!

It is especially toxic to European American children. We may not know the extent of this until these children get older and open up about their personal experiences.
The time to address this is NOW. Ask children how they really feel about this teaching without being coached, or influenced about how they should respond.
Then their responses should be noted and honored.
