I have worked with so many people who were stupid enough to be rude to secretaries, receptionists, handymen/cleaners/janitors and wait staff. Those "nobodies" have so much power. If you can't treat them with simple human dignity and respect for their work, at least have the intelligence to treat them with fear of how they can make your life hell if you cross them.

This is writing at its best, and Harvey Korman and Carol Burnett's deliveries are impeccable! The sketches were the best, their musicals were phenomenal and all the characters were thoroughly entertaining! I sure miss this show!

When they first ran on network tv, the Carol Burnett Show, the Bob Newatt Show & the Mary Tyler Moore Show ran back to back on Saturday night. Instead of going out to bars & parties, 1000's of stoned college kids were glued to the tube. Probably saved our lives.
