The song is telling the story how he was feeling just when he met Dove. He was afraid he could not give her the same amount of love as she was giving him. He was not in touch with his feelings, felt in a dark place, but now he can say he is really in love with Dove and he was capable to write this song with the right words to express his feelings back then. It’s poppy, it’s catchy and it makes me wanna dance immediately.

When asked about if there are any rock songs on his upcoming album, Damiano actually said he doesn't want to compete with his own band.
His solo songs, are the kind of songs he can't create with the rest of the band. So naturally they're more poppy, as Damiano's always been the pop heart of the band.

Credo che dobbiate ricordare che molte delle canzoni che Damiano ha scritto per questo album solista sono nate nel periodo in cui Damiano ha rotto con la sua ex fidanzata Giorgia Solari con cui stava da piu di 6 anni ( da quando aveva pressapoco 16 anni ), praticamente la sua prima vera stotia d'amore " adulta " , e quando era nel bel mezzo del Tour mondiale con i Maneskin, quindi non ha avuto molto tempo per elaborare quel dolore e questo genere di canzoni non si addice allo stile dei Maneskin e da qui nasce la necessita di un disco solista .
