Nice demo, I always listen to your demos several times as you're so thorough with squeezing all the nuanced tones. But this is a tough choice, I lust after both of these and they are both very awesome. New SG Modern is $3350CAD, Custom 24 is $6100CAD! And that price difference is justified I think, Core being loosely equivalent to Gibson Custom Shop. Luckily I'm limited to affording my SE SAS and SG Special and happy with them. But I dream...

I couldn't pick a winner, they both sounded good in their own way, even though I'm a SG fan, I think you looked more comfortable playing the SG, but both guitars sounded killer, the SG definitely had more presence.

the thing that cant be overlooked is the fact that the SG is over a thousand US dollars less. thy are so close sonicly but the Gibson gives you a few more bells and whistles. for the money the SG is the better value.
