that HD one seems quite glitchy but i really like how it looks

that 3d one, with a bit of effort and willpower, could easily be awesome.

Let’s be honest, the 4bit version is *easily* the best version.

4bit: More limited music
8bit: Master System or Super Mario Bros level
16bit: Classic Sonic
HD: Classic Sonic 2.0
3D: Hey, am here... But don't talk much...

4 bit: Sonic 1 hack (Sonic 1 Blastless DX, technically the game is still 16 bit)
8 bit: Master System Sonic 1
16 bit: Genesis/Megadrive Sonic 1
HD: Sonic 1 HD
3D: ???

4-bit should be SG-1000 / SC-3000 / SF-7000, MSX Computer, ColecoVision

8-bit should be Master System / Game Gear

16-bit should be Genesis / Mega Drive

32-bit should be 32X, Saturn, Dreamcast

64-bit HD should be Microsoft Windows 11, Sega Windows 1732

128-bit 3D 4D 5D 8K should be PlayStation 5 (PS5), Sega SG-2000 Year 2025

The HD version looks a little cheap. Sure the pixels are smoothed out, but at that point, just make the sprites resemble the cover and promotional art. 16 bit is the best.

The 3d one clearly isn't green hills
You should have picked sonic generations, sonic robo blast or sonic utopia

correct me if I’m wrong but was there ever a 4-bit console? even the Atari 2600 was 8-bit and that thing couldn’t even get close to rendering the “4-bit” version of sonic

4-bit would look way worse. The "4-bit" is just pixelated 16-bit

We all know that 16bit 1991 sonic is the best!

(In my opinion)
