Minor Spoiler for The Acolyte -
Cortosis is a rare metal that can disrupt and short out the blade of a lightsaber and render it temporarily disabled.
I have built a brand new Special Ability into my Early Access OS7 Style Library that replicates the battle with the Stranger in the Acolyte Series.
When a lightsaber blade strikes Cortosis the blade is disrupted and the saber is shorted out rendering it disabled for a period time. This is used to great advantage by the Stranger.
With the new "Cortosis Clash Mode" Special Ability in my Early Access Library you can replicate this effect. Using the Special Ability of your choice you can enter Cortosis Clash mode for a period of time, while in this mode the next clash that occurs within that time (Delay) will replicate the effect of clashing against Cortosis and your saber will short out and be temporarily disabled from igniting using the Power Button. After the Time for the Cortosis effect runs out your saber will be able to ignite and run normally again until you decide to use "Cortosis Clash" again.
This new effect uses two unique Transition Sounds, the first is to signify entering Cortosis Clash mode and the second is the disabled ignition or shorting out sound if you try to reignite after the Cortosis shorted the blade. The exact sound file name will be generated by the library in the Style Information based on the selections you make. Be sure to review so you can properly set up the sounds.
If not already an Early Access Patron be sure to sign up for access the the Early Access Library to get the new code.

I really hope we get a neopixel saber for Kamir from Acolyte soon. The most recent episode gave us a nice close up of what it looks like. It's gorgeous

Any chance we could get a more fluttery dual phase wipe transition?

After the Acolyte "saber bleed" scene, I immediately tried to recreate it with the dual phase option.

At the moment I have it just "wipe" transition from blue to red with a speed of "10000" but the actual transition is a bit too clean and linear.

Every other option was a bit too erratic though.

It'd be nice if it would jitter a bit at the fade point and feel a bit smokey or flamey.

Edit: it'd also be great if a sound could be applied to the transition too (maybe there's already a way and I'm just unaware).
