Thanks so much, I was stuck on this for ages! I realised that if you have "ng serve" running, you need to restart it in order for it to pick up the change (after adding RouterModule to the new module).

Thanks a lot, Im new to angular and I was really annoyed because theres a bunch of tutorials that doesnt include this simple and "logic" thing to call the routing module in the shared component where you want to use "routerLink".
