How to make Whimsy's Pride (Wire Fairy Sculpture) - Preparing the Skeleton and support rod

Robin Wight shows you how to prepare your wire skeleton/armature to sculpt Whimsy's Pride, a fairy that Robin himself made a life sized sculpture of a few years ago and is one of his most popular fairies.

I have been looking for something like this. I have my own designs, sketches but I just didn't know the process of doing it. The kit is going to benefit me a lot in just doing these and helps me to solve problems for my own designs later on. I want to do large figures using wires so doing this first is going to give me the knowledge, experience and insight for my own project. Going to order kit next week when I am back from holidays. 10:08 Could you perhaps flatten the wire a bit to make it easier to get that last curve without torquing the angle? Or would that weaken the wire?

Fantastic design, BTW. Have always loved it. Excited to see the kit. Just need to locate a vise to use. :)
