In Great Britain, it is estimated (Labour Force Survey) that in 2017/18, there were approximately half a million cases of work-related stress, anxiety and depression, with an estimated 15.4 million working days being lost at a cost of over £5billion per year. These conditions are among the most commonly reported causes of occupational ill-health.

In this webinar, Phoebe Smith, one of the lead human factors specialists at HSE Science and Research Centre, talks about what organisations can do to reduce the risk of anxiety and depression arising from work-related stress and help protect/enhance individuals' mental health. Phoebe also discusses how the HSE Stress Indicator Tool and support help organizations to control work related stress.
