Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer were among the major party leaders facing tough audience questions on the BBC's Question Time election special.

The prime minister broke his silence on the Tory betting scandal early, declaring he was "incredibly angry" and vowing that any law breakers would be "booted out" of his party.
