I don’t care what anyone says this man’s music really did save so many people and tie so relatable I’ll always be a fan no matter what

Out of pure boredom and shear curiosity, my girlfriend and I watched Machine Gun Kelly's "Life in Pink" one evening. Admittedly, neither of us went into the film expecting much, as we were not initially fans of his. However, the documentary ultimately provided us with a different perspective of MGK, and changed everything that we thought we "knew" about him as a person and artist. It was an emotionally enthralling and powerful film. One scene in particular that stands out highlights the various shows in which concertgoers threw objects at Machine Gun Kelly with intent to harm him as he was simply performing. Now, I am merely paraphrasing here, so do forgive me if I butcher the quote. But, MGK said something to the extent of, "What those people don't see is that I am there as a father with his daughter who is witnessing this." Hate is weird. Sometimes we partake in spreading it without even realizing it, as I have inadvertently done numerous times when just simply "Liking" posts and/or memes in which depict Machine Gun Kelly in a negative light. But I've come to realize that the hate wagon that undoubtedly follows this man and his career is completely and totally unwarranted. He's a musician. You don't have to like him or his music, but you have to respect the fact that he continues to go out there night after night even in the light of such blind prejudice as internet meme culture. I purchased his album "Tickets To My Downfall" on vinyl mere hours after watching "Life in Pink" and I don't regret it one bit. <3

When he said 90% of the fans listen because of the pain they identify with that was spot on. I have been a fan since the beginning because I feel he was the only artist that was like me. Just remember you have not made it till you have haters.

contrary to those who base stuff on tabloids and says that he finished, he still continues to rock the industry as an icon. a pity that the world does this but at the same time, it's what makes him unique and what he is now. a legend forever.

This is HUGE. When Kells says “Currently, my drug of choice is happiness and commitment to the art, rather than commitment to a vice that I believed made the art, ” this is what I see in this documentary. Thank you Colson for showing up the way you do for us - your fans. The fact that you identify from the inside out has us LOVE you!!!

This was a pretty solid documentary. I have a newfound respect for MGK and Cleveland! Just moved to the CLE a year ago and I know many locals are proud of MGK and the ways that he continues to represent and come back to the city on a regular basis. He does a lot for local charity and gives back to support the local economy.
Great job Hulu, another great one!

0:01 that concert where MGK is wearing a light blue jacket was here in Lollapalooza Chile 🇨🇱, it was sick! One of the most fun concerts I've ever been, the crowd was amazing. I'm sooo glad I was there, please come back soon! ❤️🔥
