“We will live for art and for mankind let freedom, music, and truth intertwine. My dying breath, the comedy is done my music, my muse, my truth eternally beloved.” What a way to say goodbye! Thank you for the years of humor and for teaching us so much about music and what it means to be a musician. And thank you for the immense effort and love you have poured into these farewell videos. I’m excited to see the last ones, even though it will mean the end of an era.

I’m not lying when I say that I started crying watching this music video. This is genuinely the most moving one, and I can really feel Beethoven’s pain in Eddy’s voice. I love how much Brett and Eddy are honouring each composer with every music video; it’s really nice, and I feel like they managed to create such an accurate representation of each composer! ❤

I know this is meant to be "Beethoven, " but I can't help feel this is TwoSet's farewell. If it is, it is the perfect sendoff. No matter what, music will unite all of us. TwoSet may be gone, but Ling Ling 40 Hours is forever.

Eddy's vocal might not be the best but I can see he put so much effort in improving his singing skill. And the song is just SO DAMN GOOD OMG my mind was totally blown away. It would be so sad to bid farewell to you guys, but I'm still looking forward to the rest of Twoset Production! Love you, my musical geniuses!

ALL the Beethoven music references in this MV! (hope I caught it all, if not pls reply so I can edit it in)

0:03~0:09: 9th symphony 1st movement, bars 17~18 (including last note of 16 and first note of 19)
0:18~0:33: 9th symphony 2nd movement, bars 57~72 repeated twice as the background melody. Each repetition the last few bars are slightly altered from major to minor keys.
0:34~0:49: 9th symphony 2nd movement, roughly bars 26~40, repeated twice as the background melody. Each time the ending bars are modified, with inspiration from nearby parts, to loop and transition more smoothly.
0:50~0:56: 9th symphony 1st movement, bars 23~26 (including first note of 27), as the main melody. The octave and downwards scale are a minor third harmony below from the original.
0:58~1:05: 9th symphony 2nd movement bars 338~345 as the background melody. The second half is repeated three times. Here the first time you hear the melody, the exact beats are actually from the previous bars 330~337, but played in a minor scale. So you could also view this as 330~337 altered into minor keys and then 342~345 repeated twice.
1:05~1:21: piano sonata "pathetique" 2nd movement, bars 1~8, but transposed into D minor as the chorus main melody. The original music is in A flat major and is a slow relaxing tune, but here is it changed into a fast, dramatic, minor melody. Aside from the transposition, the melody is almost completely unchanged.
1:23~1:38: piano sonata "moonlight" 1st movement bars 5~8 repeated twice as the background melody. Once again it is transposed to fit the key of this piece and the transitions are modified.

For the rest of the song, the chorus is repeated once, then 1:58~2:14 is a repetition of 0:18~0:33 but the background melody is brought into the foreground, and then the chorus is repeated twice.

These original pieces from Beethoven are also some of my most favorites in the whole classical music world so it was such a pleasure to listen to such a high production song from TwoSet that featured all of these pieces. Thank you TwoSet! Wish you guys the best of luck for your future endeavors!

It’s beautiful and makes me cry. It reminds me of one scene of Twoset virtual tour. Beethoven Eddy said like he has a reason to live to share his passion for music. This is a beautiful gift for us. Thanks a lot.

Not gonna lie, you can put this on loop, study to this, and it'll feel like you're creating the masterpiece of the century. I'm listening to this while taking notes for Geometry and it feels like I'm creating a new theorem or formula, heck, it feels like I'm creating a cure for something.

Dear Brett and Eddy,

I loved watching your videos. My favorites were the ones with Hilary Hahn. I played the violin when I was in the fourth grade but gave it up. Your videos helped inspire me to buy a violin and to start to learn the instrument again as a 37 year old. I practice everyday and I love the process of learning this instrument. Thank you for putting yourselves out there and sharing your passion with us. You both have made my life immeasurably better. I wish you both the best as you go forward in life. Go find what makes you whole. I love you two. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some practice to do.

I feel like this video revealed to me something about Beethoven I haven't thought about before. How his passion and feeling of mission guided his through struggle. Thank you very much, Brett and Eddy.

All those years your work was not in vain, you will be remembered.

Goodbye Brett and Eddy 2013-2024 you two were legends, I will practice to carry your legacies.

But Seriously, this is my favorite of the three songs so far, can't wait to see what song 4, 5, and especially 6 sound like

eddy's vocals really are hauntingly lovely here.. the visuals are as striking as the lyrics they lend imagery to. i fear these videos are getting pumped out too fast for my liking, im still trying to process this. but thank you b&e and the tsv team once again for your efforts.

as sad as i am to see my childhood go, i am so very grateful for the impact you have had on my life. i was intermediate at most when i started watching your vids, beginner dare i say since i watched eddy's tutorials. now im in my last year as concertmaster in a senior youth orchestra; how time flies.

i am very glad that you decided to make a decision that will allow you to take care of yourselves properly. it cannot be more well deserved.

ling ling wannabes, keep practicing!

Brett and Eddy, this will be buried down in the hundreds of comments, but genuinely, thank you for making content on violin and classical music for all these years. You have made me laugh and smile countless of times. Hope you two have a great life and future ahead❤
