Doesn't work. I don't want to open up multiple notepads. I want multiple apps.

if I have 2 instances open of 1 program I used to be able to go to the taskbar with the mouse and chose 1 of the 2 instances to be active. In Windows 11 that does not work. The 2 instances show when I hover the mouse over the program icon at the taskbar but when I want to go and hover over 1 of the 2 instances with the mouse they go into auto-hide

I can of course use Alt-Tab to go to the instance I need but the mouse is much more convenient. Is this not possible anymore in Windows 11 or is there some trick I do not know off?

*"THIS IS NOT A SEPARATE INSTANCE."* It is a separate window of same instance. When I try to change the position of the last notepad I open it drags all the notepads.

Thanks for the misinformation.
