Or you make the cloning start like this : First, the lever must on the clone position. At this position, pushing the start button will not fire up the unit. The unit stays off. Only after push and hold the start button and pushing another clonestart button for 3 times, the unit will enter clone session. For user who want to use as HDD bay for files / media only, the clone lever must be moved back to PC position, otherwise the unit cannot be turned on. See. It is very safe now.

A lever for cloning function and a start button which need to be pushed only twice to start cloning is VERY BAD DESIGN. I am not surprised if users of this unit might I think there are user who would like to use this dock as a merely media bays, and not doing cloning. Or maybe very rarely. Do we have to check the position of clone lever every time we use the dock ? What if a kid playing with the lever and stop at clone position, and the parent happen to push the start button twice; because the first one was thought not so firm a push ? Orico should utilise a multiple button push to start cloning session. For instance pushing start and clone buttons at the same time. Even both buttons must be at separate location, maybe about three cm away.

Can I insert 2.5" sata with its case (no usb adapter)
O mean It's a seagate 2.5 HDD with it's original case but without the adapter

Hi Is anyone tried with 4TB HDD disk? Mine recognise only 2TB on the HDD drive other is unknown
