I like how people complain about modern minecraft and kids playing it. Seriously no one should affect your experience with something, and if you don't like modern minecraft, you can switch to the older versions in the launcher!

I’ve noticed a trend among songs in Minecraft Volume Alpha. There are songs with related names that are adjacent to each other. In each of those pairs, the first song is more calm, while the second one is more loud and active. Key is calm, but Door is loud and active. Oxygene is calm, but Equinoxe is louder and more active. Dry Hands is calm, but Wet Hands is relatively more active. Clark is calm, Chris is active. Cat is calm, Dog is active. It’s brilliant really. Also, notice that in each of these cases, the first song is in the game, but the second one isn’t, with the exception of Dry Hands and Wet Hands, which are both used. (Also Dog is still used on legacy console, or at least on the version I’m on. But I’m not sure, as I have a lot of updates to go through to catch up.) Anyway, I love Minecraft Volume Alpha, and I love C418.

I remember playing minecraft once, and I found a village that I had raided a long time ago. It was empty. Then, this music started playing and it somehow reminded me of how my choices have affected others. When I hear this music, I remember to take care of others.

The old soundtrack, I don't know why they would discount it today. It was a masterpiece, but then again I'm happy, as every time I listen to these songs I'm reminded of my old self and hit with a wave of nostalgia and other inexplicable feelings.

This is definitely an homage to Jean-Michel Jarre. Not only this track comes right after Oxygène like JMJ's work, they also are the only ones in French from the entire album.
