BLACKYAK Hooded Active Down Jacket - MEN

The Hooded Active Down Jacket is made for cold conditions and, thanks to its weight, it is compact and very versatile.
The down chambers of the jacket are engineered in a completely new way. In order to avoid thread exposure and likely damage to the construction, the development team divided the chambers through dividing seams, where the thread is located inside and protected from damage through layers of fabric.
By separately attaching the box-walls made of mesh fabric, all outside seams are basically double stitched – so should a thread ever fail it is backed up by another stitching internally, which makes this product extremely reliable and durable.
The special mesh box-wall construction of the chambers traps warm air inside the system and keeps it floating between the individual chambers, minimizing heat convection through seams. Two internal wind skirts guarantee additional warmth.
This leads to a very light jacket of about 700 grams, featuring outstanding performance and reliability.
