I've been using Notion for a couple of years now (for my own stuff and some homeschool recording) this year is the first year that I've created a template and shared it with my oldest for her to fill in each week. I love seeing how others use Notion and different organizing systems, thanks for sharing, Angie!

This is great, thank you. I've been using trello and feel my thoughts are still all over the place. I hope by playing around with this and seeing other examples i can get a better idea of how to organize. Sometimes being open-ended is a detriment!

Great video! Thank you! Ive been thinking about using Notion and then pop! You came out with a video! Love it! And I totally relate about wanting to go back and remember what i/we thought and did in homeschooling 4 years ago! I have even thought having a YouTube channel would be a great idea (even if i never had a follower) so i could record our honeschooling journey!

I do same thing but on trello. I use free édition and have a workspace for each school year. I like the checklist options and added pictures for subjects and books. I also keep a read aloud lists and it’s awesome!!

I like this! I hadn't heard of Notion. I looked at Trello but that was intimidating to me, and then I looked at the online
Homeschool Panda and Homeschool Planet but didn't want to go that granular. This looks like a decent option to try!

I think this is great! Thank you for sharing! I use Notion for my weekly planning because the pace of different lessons across Book Shark, IEW and math it was driving me bananas. I kind of work opposite as you, my daily is in Notion and my paper is more of my reflections and journaling. Interesting how everyone's brain works differently! I just started compiling a list of all the curriculum I have stored (so I don't repurchase and can start reusing with my younger kiddos). It currently lives in Trello, but I could see it living in a few places as my organization methods grow with me. Best of luck in your new school year!

I love this! I keep all of these type of notes/docs in Google Docs/Google Sheets but I have thought about transitioning it all into Google Classroom.

Very cool! I’ve really enjoyed your planning videos this summer. I have a question about how you use sonlight’s map points and timeline. Do you just follow the instructors guide or do you do the timeline once a week and then Map points once a week? Just curious how you actually implement it. I’m trying to figure out how I want to do it this year. I don’t necessarily always want to stop reading, pull that stuff out so I think I might do them once a week. Thank you!

What template did you use for the big picture planning that showed curriculum? Sorry trying to work on Notion and be less confused!
