Augmented reality applications for Smart Grids

Augmented reality is gaining momentum not only in the entertainment sector but also in different industrial sectors.
Throughout this talk we will analyze different use cases in which augmented reality has served to reduce production costs, train employees, guide operators in assembly or maintenance work, and also provide new and intelligent interactive interfaces for process monitoring. We will show specific use cases related to Smart Grid, outlining the challenges and limitations of each case, providing new approaches to overcome them in order to maximize the benefits for the Smart Grid industry.
