I am an 80 + year old Brit who has travelled to the USA dozens of times. In 2023 I was told that I needed a full visa in place of the normal ESTA simply because I had visited Cuba.. At large expense and time I had a long wait at the US Embassy in London which was not a straightforeard approval.. It is ridiculous to think of me as a threat to US security because I had visited Cuba, when at the same time thousands of Cuban citizen were allowed to cross the US border without a single problem.... what a very strange country America has become. Unrecognisable in its values since my first visit in 1970
