Last night,
I came across my old diary,
I wrote 39 years ago,
in Finland where I grew up.

I’ve made a comment of,
how this song had been stuck in my head... and how I really loved the song!

Obviously didn’t understand the lyrics,
since I wasn’t “English speaker” at the time 😳

Naturally,
out of curiosity,
I had to refresh my memory,
and look up the song,
as I couldn’t remember this song by heart.

which I usually do,
if it’s stuck in my head 😉

Anyhow,
upon listening this,
a though of loneliness surfaced.

And I realized,
this world isn’t cold and dark,
mean and unbearable..

BUT it is for those,
who’s living in it,
in loneliness!

Especially while in a relationship 😢

It truly saddens my heart,
and my soul,
as I believe,
human belongingness,
togetherness,
friendships,
relationships generally,
are the very reason we’re here,
on earth to experience.

And that there’s nothing so lonely,
then being lonely,
while in a relationship!

How is that even possible,
yet it is,
I have personally experienced such,
for the last decade,
and I know,
in my everything,
it’s time to move on....

and I pray,
God blesses all,
with meaningful and fulfilling,
relationships to be experienced ❣️

The first time my dad played this song for us he asked who it was and my brothers and I said we didn't know lol and he said it's Kiss lol and we were like no way lol... my dad has been gone for 11 years and we all had millions of awesome memories with my parents and this song is a good one!

Song came out when I was 18 and I really did have an ex BF in a band and big joke he would quote me the lyrics ( me and the boys are playing, ha ha) he ended up cheating on me and gave me a venereal disease and then dumped me and it broke my heart. He was such a jerk. Still a good song though and great title.
