My vertical went from 19 to 37 after doing plyo for 1 year, i swear im not kidding, i also lost 40 pounds.

Edit: Now my vertical is 40, i fell of a bit but now im back

One very important thing is do build a strength base before you do this because if you don’t your muscles aren’t ready for the intense pressure

Plyo is absolutely legit, especially for runners, and more so for sprint distances. Excellent content!

I was a decent D1 east coast prospect going into my senior year of high school. The summer between junior to senior year I started plyo. I did it hard, worked all day and into the night just trying to better my vertical and agility. Senior year started now and I had greatly increased the attributes I was looking for but with 1 notable side effect. My shins were killing me. The physician and trainer both diagnosed it as shin splints. I kept playing through the pain until 1 day at a big tournament in Washington D.C. was coming down with a rebound and my left leg imploded. Tib/fib completely shattered, lost my calf muscle, tore all ligs/tendons in knee/ankle. My basketball career was now over, heck I was lucky to ever walk again. Point of the story is listen to your body, it was telling me to stop but I pushed on. Not saying Plyo is bad at all, actually the results say otherwise 🙂

I am currently the tallest player on my team I cannot dunk, but with these exercises, I felt like I was jumping higher and higher almost like every five weeks I felt like I was getting like 5 cm and that can build up really fast so thank you❤

Thanks so much for helping me improve my vertical jump. I’m 5’ 9” and just started your workouts. I’m still about 3 inches away from rim but I’ll get it someday and then get a dunk after that
