Hey all! Just wanted to point out another way to do this which can save time. Basically, you can plug in values into the store variable button on the calculator, the STO - button, from there, you can plug the variables you stored into the original expression to get the target number you are looking for. Finally, use that target number to rule out answer choices until you find that target number. The answer choice which yields the target number is the correct answer.
I used this method on his website's practice, and it worked. I believe it works for all polynomial type questions where there's x's and y's in the answers. It's best to choose values between 2-5. Don't use 0 or 1 as they can cause problems.
