Thank you so much for this. I do a lot of 3D art with models but I'm bad at sculpting so this other program helps a lot. I heard you mention Sims - you're probably aware but there's a program called sim ripper that allows you to export your sims as .dae and import them into blender as models.

Wewww ladd, why are you doing all this? Diffeomorphic can import almost anything. anims, poses, full characters.
It gives errors sometimes with morphs but if you ERC freeze them into one shape it always does well.
I havent gotten expressions to work without exporting a base resolution OBJ rotated on X 90 degrees facing into the floor, but, if you keep the figure T posed in blender and just export an OBJ you can easily transfer expressions by 'transfering' the obj as a shape key into your figure and youll get the expression and even the eye lashes to follow it, as long as you transfer shape keys to the eye lashes.

After importing into the blender, the character's lips are not singled out separately. The eyes and head are separate, but the lips are connected to the head

how did u get to edit the face so drastically in daz? I'm only really able to adjust position of stuff. I see you were able to edit the size of stuff like eyes/lips. Seems my parameters are missing some stuff? Using genesis 8 female. cheers!
