Very interesting breakdown of this song, which I hadn’t heard before. Klemmer’s early recordings were quite innovative for their time. That double LP “Magic Moments” compilation is really fun!

When I saw 'Wildest Chord Changes' I half guessed I'd be needing a black beret :-) but I certainly didn't imagine such a _highspeed_ modulationfest.

Interesting song to listen to you do an analysis of, but omg, that Coda section at the beginning of the video... The sax part was fine but rhythm section sounded like a drummer playing punk-rock blast beats to some manic nintendo video game song. Not my cup of tea, I'm afraid. As wild as Giant Steps is, at least it still remains pleasant to the ear.
