The fig tree, a symbol of the Jewish Nation in the time of Jesus. It had lots of pretentious leaves but no fruit for the sustenance of life. It was useless. Jesus cursed it and the next day had dried up. If we want to receive the favorable judgement of God, we must bear fruit for the sustenance of the hungry and water to slake their intense thirst.if we provide neither, our existence is useless. We should change our profession or ways.
