This video shows you how to open a midi file with multiple midi tracks in it. If you just drag and drop it into FL Studio, you'll get a big mess. But doing it the right way, you'll get all midi tracks separated from each other.

This doesn't work anymore. Now all I get is a channel rack with a random synth as the only instrument, and I don't think anything is actually separated.

Thanks much ! Been trying to figure this out, how do you save them as separate midi file ? Each trach as a separate file

are you able to make it import each midi tracks in different channels instead of being in the same one?

Or you can open FL Studio. Go to file and import midi. Then you have to option to open in separate tracks.

Worked for me a single time, then has not worked again. I have no clue why that would be the case.
