A film by Francis Ford Coppola.

A Roman Epic set in an imagined Modern America. The City of New Rome must change, causing conflict between Cesar Catilina, a genius artist who seeks to leap into a utopian, idealistic future, and his opposition, Mayor Franklyn Cicero, who remains committed to a regressive status quo, perpetuating greed, special interests, and partisan warfare. Torn between them is socialite Julia Cicero, the mayor's daughter, whose love for Cesar has divided her loyalties, forcing her to discover what she truly believes humanity deserves.

Starring Adam Driver, Giancarlo Esposito, Nathalie Emmaneul, Aubrey Plaza, Shia LaBeouf & Jon Voight.

Jason Schwartzman nailing that audition for his middle school’s fall play.

It's bizarre that Coppola was discussing this satellite crash plotline for literally decades (and its why he called off the movie soon after September 11) but then in the resulting movie, it's incredibly off handed and has little to no bearing on the plot.

To me this was the most interesting part of the premise (particularly the idea of building after a tragedy) but it takes place an hour and a half into the movie and gets glossed over immediately

This looks like a high-end perfume commercial.

I'm so impressed by Giancarlo Esposito still managing to look like he's working his ass off to put in the best performance possible despite the absolutely atrocious script

Megapolis is like Tommy Wiseau’s dream come true.

Coppola just told Schwartzman "Act like you're in one of your Wes Anderson roles, you don't have to change a thing"

‘you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain…’ is the best way to describe coppola..

With the amount of clips they are releasing, might as well just release the movie to streaming. Not like the movie is earning in cinemas

If the shadows suddenly disappeared at 1:00 that would be a bit more impactful

Why are there silhouettes as if the light is coming from below when the fire from the satellite is still far above?

It feels like they forgot about this plot point for half a movie and had to rush it with this 10 second conversation. "You're never gonna believe this"

but ... but that's not how satellites work? I mean, I didn't go to school for satellite de-orbiting, but those things are super lightweight, and not exactly.... that large? Wouldn't it just burn up in the atmosphere? Even if it didn't, I mean... it's just not enough stuff, it wouldn't have enough kinetic energy to do much damage? Maybe... one building?

0:34 What's going on with the lighting in this scene? Did these people have specially prepared RGB LED lights to heighten the drama in case of a disaster?
