This video is about a scam that's circulating on Instagram, The scam involves false claims of Gordon Ramsay giving away free HexClad cookware sets, which is actually a hidden subscription scam.

The scam involves hard-to-spot terms and conditions which state that by joining the VIP Sweepstake Access Program, you will be charged $7.95 for a trial membership today. After seven days, your trial membership will end, and you will be charged $67.43, which is the full price of the VIP Sweepstake Access program. You will then be charged $67.43 every 30 days thereafter until you choose to cancel.

To cancel your membership, you need to call the company at 1-855-221-0024 and say "Cancel My Membership" to cancel your subscription.

I don’t understand how these are allowed by the platforms? Someone needs to sue the social media companies so they will review and vet the garbage they shove in our faces. They don’t care beyond the money they collect from the scammers. Another example of corporate greed

I also was scamed from LA Crox cookware. Once they took the 9.95 for shipping I began get charges for things I didn't order or receive.

I was the idiot who fell for it... I need a life, luckily I checked my bank account straight after and they only got 7.95 I will dispute this. So YouTube people please forgive me my ignorance on this and thanks for the content I would have thought this was normal charge until I looked at the name majestic electronics. Ugh
