Keep in mind the surge when you first turn on stuff can exceed its watt rating. A 1200 watt blender can exceed 2000 watt in the first few seconds.

On my earlier type of delta pro, I easily run a 1750 watt aicon, which has a surge peak of over 5500watts. Furthermore, it is capable of giving me 3500 watts continuesly, till its internal battery is empty! I hear more people about this nasty feat of the pro 3… So I think I will continue living with the (original?) Pro, which already works flawlessly for 4 years now .

Anker solix f3800 I’ve put up to 2500 watts so far with no issues also allows usage while charging through solar and can use 120/ 220 split at same time it’s amazing

If you are drawing over 16amps on the outlets for a short period it should trip. A breaker should only operate at 80% of the circuit load it can go above that for a short period but will have a time delay trip. If anyone was to help you we would need to know the full rundown of all conditions to re create this.

I’m sucking 2.1kw from a socket. Its max capability is 4000 watts from the 4 sockets. I’m in Oz and have 4 x240v socket version. Been working really well for over 5 months solid. Check your output wattage settings!

use an adapter to plug into the 30a receptacle. It can be a pigtail or an extension cord. It will usually have three outlets. The individual 120v outlets are just for short term convenience and should not be used for long term power supply.

Use that 240V with a transfer switch boss you should good to go for high amp transients.

Check the settings on your app. It may be set to a lower limit

Thanks for this post. I am trying to charge my Ford ETransit Van with EcoFlow Delta Pro 3 ... 240 Amps ... and the unit seems to work for about 20 seconds, and then turns off. WTF? ... any help? ... I do not know how to do the X Boost ... grrrr ...

did you try the reset BMS procedure? it may help
it's a know problem on other ecoflow models and all other brands too. It's the way LFP technology works, your BMS can crash, and it needs a reset sometimes like any computer

Bad unit definetly. I have delta pro "old" model i use it permanently in the house, and i even used it a few days to run my pump power water 1000 watii/hour) and it worked fine 6 hours with no issu (having connected two delta pro extra batterys).

these things are garbage. I fell for the hype and got a delta pro. it sucks really hard. It cannot charge from a gas generator while also discharging like you said, about 1500w. If it's discharging under that, I CAN charge it with my generator, but as soon as the demand goes up over 1500w while it's charging, it says "overload" and shuts off the outlets. It's trash. I can power nearly my whole house with my 4000w generator, but if I want to use this as a buffer, it shuts off.

Something wrong with the unit
Charge it then empty it maybe you haven't used it for to long and the battery is napping
If it didn't work call the company for a replacement

I would do some looking in the app or maybe something is wrong with it because I just did a video of my Delta 3 plus doing 2000 watts no problem. Yours is much bigger so something is definitely strange.
