Trey Wingo is correct. Benching Bryce has Tepper written all over it. Don't get me wrong, Bryce should never have been the top pick, and football people knew this. Mrs. Tepper, who was the primary motivation for taking the little man, should be asked to butt out of football decisions. But she won't be. Nor will Tepper. He's a billionaire, and a megalomaniac, and the Panthers are nothing but a toy for them to play with. Meanwhile, fans are caught watching this trash on TV.

Here’s something that is being ignored - what if Dalton does well and the Panthers go… 3-5 through the Germany game?

Short term feel good, long term lose the first overall pick. Which means you lose the chance to draft your pick of college QBs or trade it for multiple draft picks to strengthen the defense while picking up a rehab QB in free agency.
