The pain in this song is oddly beautiful. I'm 67 and have lost a few friends that way. There has been a lot of loss in the family, parents we expected to lose, siblings who were supposed to out live us you put all those feelings in through an amp and now I (even though it almost makes me cry) I can't stop listening.

I've attempted to take my life multiple times. I recieved a major life changing injury from one attempt (I actually successfully died but was brought back). I know what it's like to look into the abyss and think theres nothing left and doing that is the only way out. There truely was nothing anyone could've said or done to change my mind at that point. Once the decision to take your life is made, it's hard to change that mindset. Sorry for your loss, suicide is very devastating. Sometimes its preventable sometimes it's not, but just know it's not your fault. ❤

I lost my dad almost four years ago and this song is very strong in feelings. It’s just so beautiful, so much in feelings.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this song. My little brother took his own life three months ago when he was only 15 years old. I didn't reply to his last message in time either. Day after day I ask myself whether it would have changed anything. The guilt accompanies me every day and seems to consume me completely. I find it so difficult to confide in friends and ask for support. Everyone kept asking themselves, why didn't I answer that last call or why didn't I detect anything in that last goodbye? What I eventually had to accept was that only the person who leaves knows it's the last chance. Everyone did their best with what they knew at the time. I'm sure you did, too. my partner passed away a little over three years ago. i didn’t reply to this song either.
i wanted to take my life a couple weeks ago and felt unsafe with myself, so a friend took me to the hospital. she told me that i was doing the thing she had wished my late partner had done.
those words stick with me when i hear this song. it’s painful but from the heart, and i resonate with it deeply.
