A fourth type that stick around land that has water near by to it. Once they suck up pikmin they float over to to water and drop the pikmin into it. It would give insensitive to either only use blue pikmin against it or to take them out quickly. Maybe called The Dropfloat

absorbs the glycerin sugars from its prey (for example, the sugars in pikmin blood from the nectar they drink) and processes them into dense, pearl-like sugar balls
upon death, drops nectar and all of its sweets, which are functionally just colorless pellets
louie wonders if feeding it different pikmin types changes the pearls' flavors... but olimar probably wouldn't let him test that. he might have to "accidentally" lose a few squads to it for his experiments
the jelly itself is extremely slippery and jiggly, barely a solid. very sweet with a mild flavor, best cooked down into a syrup. the sugar pearl size and quality depends on the age and health of the specimen, what it ate, and how long the pearls were processed for. i may or may not have come up with this with the sole intention of making it tasty for little louie

The glimmering Jelly Float (either sucks up treasure or already has it inside it in order to use the sparklium on it to defend itself, if anything gets near it it will flash dazing everything near it, it will also ditch it’s current treasure for a quicker escape, but will immediately start to look for a replacement while fleeing the encounter)

The shiverfloat, a jellyfloat immune to being frozen. All pikmin can touch. It can also release a frosty mist that causes non ice pikmin to get the shiver effect.

Same as the other jellies, but is docile unless you attack first! Also, the song it sings puts your pikmin in a trance, following it. The spots on the jelly are various music notes, making what seems to be a music composition on its body. The fireworks it makes when it explodes makes a melody as well.
