Pure kino. One can imagine the stunning pastoral landscapes of an ancient Italian evening, offerings made to forgotten gods, wine drank with old friends and a profound sadness realizing these moments are lost to the ether of time.

Checking my settlements, training units, building, keeping an eye of enemy unit movements during this track

For a musician or someone who loves music, instruments can speak deeply much more than a voice. This piece tells a story about decay and how things get old and die.

Why is Lonely Strategos missing? It's similar to this track and also plays on the campaign map, but it's a lot longer.

I feel like this could be a cool intro for a metal song.

There are two songs from the campaign that I can't find on Youtube. One is a guitar song like this, but a bit more calm and the mood is a little brighter. In some respects they seem similar. Does anyone know which one I mean? The second one is a Carthage song I think, which has a pretty dreamy synth as background, but also features flutes and an Arabic woman singing (though also faintly). Any help finding these two tracks from RTW1 would be greatly appreciated!

This makes me think of southern Spain and North Africa (Carthage)

Nice song to listen to while my Western Roman Empire is being torn apart and it’s economy is imploding.
