Honestly, I feel like this might be the most fitting animation to the original Odyssey! Odysseus is so frustrated, but he’s letting it happen. In the Odyssey, iirc, he does end up sleeping with Circe because if he doesn’t, he and his pig-comrades will probably die. The exasperated frustration and angry acceptance, paired with Circe’s almost teasingly arrogant expression like she knows she’s won, makes this so lovely FJFGGHFHFGGHHHH you’re so talented bro 😭😭

I love that you did it as a dance! I had never seen anyone do that before, but when I was showing my parents Epic, my dad was saying how he imagined them dancing, and I couldn’t see it any other way after that- lol

Duvet, you might have my favorite design for Odysseus. His hair looks cool, but also wild easy enough for him to slip into looking dangerous. Also I love how blank his expression is, he does not look enamored at all. Maybe he's just thoughtful, and trying to restrain himself, but it really does look like strategist Ody to me. "Do I have to do this to save my men? Is this a game of chicken? How far do I let this go?"

Also can we just talk about how this man is having a full blown moral crisis while trying to resist Circe, meanwhile when he meets Calypso and she starts flirting with him, he is immediately like “AH HELL NAH”. I can’t tell is Calypso is just not his type or if that’s character development
